SylvanSport has hired S. Peyre Cleveland at its new sales manager and Patrick Kennedy as operations manager. The newly created positions will support overall growth and new product launches in 2013.

“We are looking to expand our product line and to develop new markets overseas,” states Thomas Dempsey, SylvanSport’s president and founder. “Peyre and Patrick will be instrumental in both of these areas as we build SylvanSport into an international brand.”

Kennedy will take over as operations manager after stepping down as the executive director at the Housing Assistance Corporation in Henderson County, N.C.  As an experienced manager of large engineering and production personnel teams, he will draw on his experience to implement long-term systematic manufacturing improvements and overall efficiency.

Peyre brings over 20 years of customer relations and sales experience to the company and will play a key role in directing customer sales and new business development.  He will draw on his extensive sales background with Beretta International to drive sales for SylvanSport, both domestically and internationally. Peyre has traveled the world and as an avid outdoorsman enjoys mountain biking, mountaineering, snowboarding, sailing, rock climbing and kayaking.
