Sweet Protection, makers of helmets and protective gear, announced the hiring of two specialized agencies to bolster sales and PR efforts for the brand in North America.

New Hampshire based Read & Run Inc. will manage New England sales for Sweet Protection’s products, including helmets, technical clothing and apparel. Read & Run’s founder, Dana Greenwood, along with industry veterans Adam Sink and Jed Rockwell, will oversee Sweet’s sales efforts in the Northeast.

“My team is beyond enthusiastic to have this opportunity with Sweet and excited about the direction of the brand,” said Greenwood.

Greenwood has deep roots in skiing and was a member of the four-time USCSA National Championship Ski Team at Sierra Nevada College (winning individual Slalom National Championship his senior year). In addition to his new position with Sweet Protection, Dana is the Territory Manager (New England) for Blizzard & Tecnica Alpine, Tecnica Footwear, Fast Strap and K&B Sports. He currently lives in his truck with his wife Amanda and two kids, Michaela ‘Mikey’ and Griffin.

In preparation for another season of hyper-growth, Sweet Protection has appointed Boulder-based Meteorite PR as their public relations agency of record. Meteorite PR will focus on introducing Sweet Protection products to top-tier endemic and lifestyle media outlets as well as freelance writers and bloggers in the outdoor space.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for Meteorite PR to work with a brand that gave helmets to an entire industry of skiers, bikers and paddlers,” said Henderson. “We’re thrilled to be the PR agency of record for Sweet Protection. Sweet Protection perfectly complements the high-end and industry-leading brands we are already working with.”
