Sweaty Betty, the London-based women’s activewear brand, is expanding its reach in the U.S. with two new stores—one in Chicago’s Southport neighborhood and the other in Washington, D.C.’s Georgetown section, which opened on November 16 and 18, 2024, respectively.

The Sweaty Betty brand is owned by Wolverine Worldwide, whose portfolio also includes Merrell and Saucony.

“We are thrilled to open these new locations in Chicago and D.C., which mark an exciting opportunity to connect with new communities and deepen our presence in key markets,” said Global Brand President of Sweaty Betty, Melissa Mullen. “We look forward to being part of these vibrant cities, supporting our consumers’ active lifestyles, and continuing to grow our global sisterhood.”

The Chicago store is at 3530 N. Southport Avenue, and the D.C. store is  at 3251 M Street NW, both feature Sweaty Betty’s complete women’s technical performance activewear collection.

In addition to the two U.S. stores, the company is also expanding its reach in the UK with two new store openings: one in Cardiff, Wales, and the other in Westfield, London. The move is part of the company’s focus on growing its presence nationwide, where it operates 85 stores.
