Swany America, the manufacturer of performance ski gloves and winter accessories, announced the appointment of Adam Weitzel to its North American Marketing team as the director of Marketing and Creative.
Weitzel brings nearly a decade of experience in the outdoor industry. He joins Swany with grassroots snow sports knowledge and sophisticated marketing expertise. He began his career as a ski shop employee during college, then moved to Colorado to further his snowsports experience as a buyer and manager. This experience led him to attend film school in Los Angeles, CA, where he focused on content marketing production. Weitzel has since held key in-house marketing positions at Smartwool and Exxel Outdoors while also creating content campaigns in the agency world for a diverse portfolio of brands spanning outdoor gear, luxury hospitality and performance products.
Weitzel’s career bridges the retail floor and the creative studio, bringing both insights to lead Swany’s marketing team.
