Mikko Moilanen, M.Sc EE, 45, has been named president of Suunto Oy starting on March 17, 2010. At the same time, Juha Pinomaa, the present President of Suunto Oy, who has resigned from the company at his own request.
Prior to taking over of the responsibilities of president, Mikko Moilanen had worked in Suunto Oy as director, products and services since Jan. 1, 2010. He has served at Nokia for 17 years, during which he has held several international leadership positions. His experience includes product and portfolio management and creation of high quality products and services.
Mikko Moilanen will also be a member of the Amer Sports
Executive Board, where he represents the Sports Instruments business area.
