Suunto continues to grow its U.S. field sales team after the Finnish brand made the move to direct distribution of the brand instead of a distributor relationship in North America.

Dan Suher, now head of Americas for Suunto, is spearheading the company’s move to connect with more U.S.-based runners, triathletes and adventurers with its watch models (see SGB Media coverage here).

In addition to the previously-announced addition of the Endorphin Group led by Scott Schilter covering the Rockies and Elevation Sales Group led by Nat Glackin, Suher announced last week the addition of  Round Pond Sales Group led by Kyle Rohne and Ian Wauchope to represent Suunto in New England.

Suunto has implemented a new system to directly distribute its products to U.S. retailers, one of the Finnish company’s key initiatives in expanding its business in North America.
