Surf Technicians has launched a new sales strategy and team to support further growth. Current Southern California sales rep Ryan Mahoney is moving to Panama with his family and will manage all international sales with current and future distributors. Long time Surftech employee Joe Scaturro will take over the Southern California Territory as sales representative. Kyle Kamstra has joined the team as in-house West Coast customer care rep. Jeramie Vaine returns for his second year with an enhanced role focused on the SUP business with NSP, Bark, and Surftech.
Joe Scaturro has been working with Surftech for 4 years handling West Coast customer care and Special events. “Joe is one of the hardest working and dedicated employees in our company and is always the first to volunteer to work extra hours and weekend events. His passion for surfing, surfboards, and prone paddling makes him a truly authentic waterman, and he already knows and has been actively working with all of our existing Southern California accounts.” Says Guay. “We are confident that he can help continue Mahoney’s progress with Surftech, Bark, NSP and some new additions in 2019.”
Kyle Kamstra is a lifelong surfer from California and has worked at Sun Diego, Surfride, as well as a Substitute Teacher. “His understanding of retail and knowledge of product will be a tremendous asset for all our Western Dealers and we are excited to bring him aboard.” Says Ryan Guay VP of Sales. Kamstra will take over all Customer Care duties for the Western part of North America.
Ryan Mahoney is an industry veteran and has been the Southern California Sales Rep for the past three years managing our steady and positive territory growth each year. “Mahoney has been a critical asset in our sales growth for both Surftech and NSP. It caused a short moment of panic when he told us he was moving his family to Panama, but we quickly realized he has the perfect background and experience to manage our rapidly expanding international business.
Jeramie Vaine will be the Brand manager for NSP North America, and Techinical advisor for everything Stand Up Paddle board related within Surf Technicians. Jeramie will continue to manage the team of ambassadors, social media content, and both retail and salesman training.
