SureWerx, a manufacturer of safety, tool and equipment products, announced that it has acquired Footwear Specialties International (FSI), a maker of safety footwear based in Portland, OR. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

In the United States, SureWerx sells under the American Forge & Foundry, Pioneer, PeakWorks, Sellstrom, Jackson Safety, ADA Solutions, Due North, and K1 brands. FSI sells under Avenger Work Boots and Nautilus Safety Footwear.
