Sunice, the technical outerwear brand, announced the addition of seasoned ski apparel design professional Grace A. Galdi to their team.  Galdi has been named the vice-president of design and merchandising, snow for the brand.

With a successful ski apparel design career spanning over 30 years, Galdi will only enhance Sunice's position as the thought leader in modern ski apparel.

“I'm thrilled to join the Sunice brand and have the chance to blend my background and experience with their exciting opportunities and future prospects.  It's a perfect match!,” says Galdi.

A graduate from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Clothing, Textiles, and Design; Galdi has also studied specialized fashion design at the American Fashion College in Switzerland.  In addition, she has worked for other prominent ski and snow apparel manufacturers such as Marker LTD, Slalom Skiwear, and Powderhorn. For the last several months, she has worked with the Sunice Brand on designing their upcoming 2010-2011 ski apparel line.

“Ms. Galdi has been an integral part of this redesign,” says Mark Fletcher, President of Sunice, “We are very pleased to have her as a part of our team.”

The new 2010-2011 line will also have a “restructured price point for the consumer in these challenging economic times without compromising the brand quality or resorting to offering a dull, plain product.”
