Outdoor adventure and action gear retailer Summit Sports has relocated its Keego Harbor, MI store to a new location in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
The store’s official grand opening is November 4 at 1751 S. Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI, 48302.
The new 5,500-square-foot location was strategically chosen to offer customers better accessibility, additional space for an expanded inventory offering and close proximity to various recreational opportunities, officials said.
“We are pleased to have found this prime location to better serve our valued customers,” said Peter Messana, CEO of Summit Sports. “This move will allow us to make it even more convenient for the Bloomfield Township outdoor adventure community to access the gear they need without having to drive long distances.”
The store, which offers outdoor apparel along with ski, snowboard and camping gear, also features a Austin Canoe and Kayak store-within-a-store concept, which is designed to offer an expanded selection of paddlesports gear. This is made possible through a partnership with ACK, Summit’s Texas-based sister company.
Summit Sports LLC owns and operates a number of outdoor action e-commerce sites, including ack.com, skis.com, snowboards.com and inlineskates.com along with nine physical stores in Michigan and Texas.
