Skis.com's snowboarding-specific retail site, Snowboards.net, has re-emerged with an enhanced user experience under Snowboards.com. The revamped site offers a content-rich and informed shopping experience for athletes of all ages and abilities and is accessible independently as well as through Summit's Skis.com site.
“We are thrilled to finally give our snowboarding business the attention it deserves with the launch of Snowboards.com,” said Founder Steven Kopitz. “With the support of our brand partners, we are now providing our customers with a superior shopping experience that helps to fully inform and educate snowboarders of all abilities before they come to a purchasing decision.”
Paralleling its sister site, Snowboards.com launches with the best selection, best experience and most replete resources. The site feature is replete with written and video content, including its on-snow video reviews and “The Morning Shred,” a series of unscripted conversations between the retailers' buyers and brand reps about featured product.
Kopitz said he aims to democratize the snowsports shopping experience through the new site by providing a vast array of unbiased information that will help educate the snowboarding community, ultimately growing the sport on the whole. This principle is coupled with an unparalleled selection of featured brands, competitive pricing and customer service comparable to that of the founding family’s retail shops for a truly authentic shopping experience, regardless of one’s zip code.
Both skis.com and snowboards.com are units to Summit Sports, which operates a total of nine online stores and three brick-and-mortar outdoor stores in Michicgan. The company has been selling online since 1997.
