Strider Sports International, a leading manufacturer and marketer of children’s balance bikes, renewed Prevish Marketing for a fourth year due to the agency’s extensive public relations skills, strategic marketing expertise and a broad range of media connections in the outdoor, bike and motorcycle industries, as well as family, lifestyle and consumer press.

“As part of our overall marketing and PR efforts, Prevish Marketing will continue to increase awareness of how Strider Bikes help people of all ages and abilities learn to ride,” said Ryan McFarland, CEO and chief enthusiast, Strider Sports International. “Especially among young children, Strider products inspire healthy habits that last a lifetime–from babies who rock to toddlers who stride. Prevish Marketing has helped us navigate the best ways to share Strider success stories with new audiences.”

Feature stories in outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Outside Magazine and San Francisco Chronicle boosted Strider’s awareness, website and social media traffic. This high-level coverage increased Strider brand awareness among top-tier media, with Strider receiving additional mentions in ESPN, the Bleacher Report, MSN.com and others.

“Using my skills to educate and excite media about the impact of Strider Bikes gives me great joy,” said Leslie Prevish, Prevish Marketing principal. “I’ve seen firsthand how Strider balance bikes have changed the lives of children and adults by igniting a passion that improves health and happiness levels. Beyond the impact of their products, Strider’s philanthropy makes me proud to collaborate with them. Since its founding in 2007, Strider has donated over $1,000,000 in cash and Genuine Strider Bikes through its Rider Fund.”

Starting in 2015, Prevish Marketing first helped Strider increase awareness on the two larger sizes (Strider 16 Sport and Strider 20 Sport) for individuals with balance and coordination challenges, such as Down syndrome and autism. In 2016, Strider tapped the agency to lead public relations efforts, as well as some content creation and on-site event support. The launch of the Strider Rocking Base that year broadened its reach to children ages six months old. In 2017, Prevish Marketing helped Strider Bikes successfully launch the Strider 14x Sport. As two bikes in one, the 14x Sport sets a new standard as the best first pedal bike for children ages 3-7 years old and creates the foundation for a lifelong love of riding.
