Classic retros from Adidas, Ugg slippers and running-inspired silhouettes from New Balance, Asics and Nike topped the list of shoes with the most search results on StockX, according to the resale platform’s recently released “Big Facts” quarterly trend report.

Comparing the latest third quarter versus the 2022 quarter, the Top 10 sneakers ranked by search activity were

  • Adidas Campus 00s, up 15,398 percent year-over-year, 
  • New Balance 1906D, up 13,804 percent;
  • Nike Zoom Freak 5, up 7,058 percent;
  • Nike Kobe 8 Protro, up 5,602 percent;
  • Nike Mac Attack, up 4,935 percent;
  • New Balance 990v6, up 2,792 percent;
  • Ugg Tasman, up 2,340 percent;
  • Nike Vomero, up 1,945 percent;
  • Ugg Tazz, up 1,340 percent; and
  • New Balance 9060v6, up 1,115 percent.

Other shoes ranking high in search activity on the resale platform include:

  •  Asics Gel-1130, up 997 percent; 
  • New Balance 860v2, up 801 percent; 
  • New Balance 1906R, up 656 percent; 
  • Nike Terminator, up 571 percent; 
  • Adidas Gazelle, up 561 percent; and 
  • Adidas Hanball Spezial, up 425 percent.

Brands with the strongest search activity over the third quarter included:

  • Hellstar, up 12,684 percent; 
  • Mugler, up 4,529 percent; 
  • Longchamp, up 197 percent; 
  • Eastside Golf, up 692 percent; 
  • Sporty & Rich, up 2,038 percent; 
  • Onitsuka Tiger, up 425 percent; 
  • Denim Tears, up 535 percent; 
  • Trapstar, up 199 percent; 
  • Sandy Liang, up 393 percent; and 
  • Blancpain, up 15,994 percent;

Collaborations with strong demand in searches in the third quarter year-over-year included:

  •  Crocs x Shrek, 1,552 percent; 
  • Palace x Oakley, 837 percent; 
  • Nike x Tiffany & Co., 920 percent; 
  • Kith x Marvel, 739 percent; 
  • New Balance x Amine, 1,338 percent; 
  • Crocs x Hello Kitty, 747 percent; 
  • Salomon x Palace, 891 percent; 
  • Uniqlo x Kaws, 389 percent; 
  • Nike x Martine Rose, 448 percent; and 
  • New Balance x Ganni, 529 percent.

Based on activity on the StockX platform from the beginning of the year through October 31 as “2023 standouts” include:

  • Adidas Campus 00s, with over $8 million spent;
  • Hellstar, with an average resale of $253;
  • Crocs x Pixar Mater Clog, with $465,000 spent;
  • Asics Gel-1130, 1,176 percent trade growth;
  • Arc’Teryx, 224 percent trade growth;
  • New Balance 9060, 744 percent trade growth;
  • Ugg Tasman x Tazz Slippers, $90,000 total trades;
  • Nike Vomero 5, 5,104 percent trade growth;
  • Louis Vuitton Bumbag & Mini Bumbags, over $1.3 million spent.

The three most coveted collaborations over the first ten months of the year on StockX were:

  • Jordan Retro Low Golf/Travis Scott Neutral Olive, 397 percent average price premium/average resale price, $846;
  • Women’s Jordan 1 Retro Low OG SP/Travis Scott, 342 percent average price premium, $663 average resale price; and
  • Nike SB Low Bom X Raised’ One Block at a Time’ sneaker, 323 percent average price premium, $550 average resale price.
