Stein Mart, Inc. has just completed the transformation of more than 100 of its shoe departments across the nation, including 40 in Florida, and is proud to announce that every Stein Mart in Florida now offers footwear provided exclusively by DSW Shoes. The Florida transition was the largest one-state conversion for the new footwear provider.
DSW is known nationwide for its extensive and fashionable footwear selection, and now brings a compelling assortment of men's and ladies' shoes specifically tailored to the Stein Mart customer. DSW Shoes is a natural complement to Stein Mart's apparel offering, and both companies have been working closely together to create a winning assortment.
With the re-assortment of this area, Stein Mart's customers will now have the ability to move seamlessly from the shoe department to apparel departments and back again under one roof. Shoes may be purchased at Stein Mart's main checkout registers at the front of the store, eliminating the need to check out separately in the shoe department.

Nearly half of Stein Mart stores have had DSW shoe departments since 2003. In July, 2006, Stein Mart named DSW as the exclusive lessee and the remaining stores were converted to the DSW offering in January 2007.
