Stan’s NoTubes, the maker of tire sealant, hired Brendon Brogan as a product manager and Kai Gabriel as an engineer.

Brogan has over 15 years of bike industry experience, a BFA in graphic design and an MS in Sports Product Design. Most recently, he founded Bingo Components, a maker of cycling accessories. Previously, Brogan worked at Nike as a community impact fund team leader in Portland, OR, in collaboration with Nike Community Impact, Girls, Inc., and the University of Oregon. Before that, previous roles included working for Tokyobike, Shimano, Recycle-A-Bicycle, and Youth Bike Summit.

“Stan’s is a category-defining brand, and I am honored to be working with the company in bringing to life its next generation of products – keep an eye out for a lot of great stuff very soon,” said Brogan. Brogan will focus on “optimizing the current creation, design, development, and lifecycles” of Stan’s NoTubes offerings.

After graduating in May with a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in engineering design from Penn State University and after interning with Stan’s NoTubes for the past year, the company hired Gabriel as a full-time engineer. He will apply his engineering knowledge to the “development, prototyping, testing, and production of current and future Stan’s NoTubes products.”

“I wanted to be an engineer in the bike industry since middle school, and I am beyond excited to design innovative, quality components for Stan’s,” explained Gabriel.

“As a product-driven company, Stan’s continues to invest in the future. We are very excited to add both Kai and Brendon to the team and look forward to their contributions to the next generation of Stan’s products that will improve the ride,” said Drew Hanna, director of product.

Brogan and Gabriel work from Stan’s NoTubes offices in State College, PA.
