Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows promoted Tom Feiten to vice president of marketing and business development.

“After five years of working closely with the marketing and sales departments at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, I am highly confident in these two extraordinarily talented teams and the momentum we have built,” said Feiten. “I look forward to stepping up to provide leadership and continuity for this vital segment of the company and progressing a fully integrated marketing, sales and business development strategy.”

Feiten came to Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows in 2011 following three years working with Teton Gravity Research to reposition and revitalize the company’s annual film tour. He spent eight years as director of strategic finance for Booth Creek Ski Holdings in Vail, CO. He has a track record of brand positioning, sales channel optimization and research-based product development. He played a role in increasing Tahoe Super Pass sales over the previous five years at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows as vice president of product and business development.

“Tom comes into this critical role with a deep understanding of the key strategic elements of the Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows brand and his executive experience in the industry will allow him to optimize our sales and marketing efforts,” said Andy Wirth, president and CEO of Squaw Valley Ski Holdings. “Tom’s analytical skills, depth of knowledge and deep level of understanding of our customer base are a terrific complement to an already world class team.”

Feiten graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
