Spyder Active Sports Inc. opened a production representative office in China to facilitate sourcing. Located in Guangzhou, approximately two hours from Hong Kong in southern China, the office will work in tandem with Spyders existing Bangkok sourcing and production team to act as factory source bases.
Leading the Chinese office is Joseph Yeung, senior sourcing manager, who began organizing the operation Nov. 20, 2007. His experience includes sourcing, production, management, quality control, merchandising, and development.
The Guangzhou and Bangkok offices will also serve the production and sourcing needs of outdoor apparel maker Cloudveil Mountain Works, which Spyder acquired earlier this year.
