Spyder Active Sports named Beverly Nestor as director, global supply chain and Alan Leslie as director, global logistics and distribution.

Beverly Nestor joins Spyder as director, global supply chain. Nestor will lead all forecasting, buy planning, inventory management, scheduling, purchasing, and ex-factory delivery. Previously with adidas-Salomon Canada, she brings a wealth of rapid-growth operations experience to Spyder. Her background includes implementing processes and standards for both local and global initiatives. “I was attracted to Spyder for a number of reasons, first and foremost the role. There’s opportunity to build upon well-running systems already in place. The potential is immense,” she said.

Alan Leslie has been named director, global logistics and distribution. His responsibilities include post-manufacture product logistics including transportation, customs, warehouse, and distribution. Leslie’s tenure at Nike, Vans, and American Sporting Goods brought extensive insight into brand operations during expansive business cycles and infrastructure restructuring. “As we plan for growth, I’ll focus on building sustainable efficiencies and capacities,” he said. “Spyder has a passionate entrepreneurial culture, and I’m looking forward to working in this environment.”

Spyder’s commitment to maximizing efficiency is warranted. Over the past five years the brand enjoyed an annual CAGR of 30%, and recently launched into multi-season product offerings.
