Sportsman’s Warehouse Holdings, Inc. recently opened new stores in Seminole, FL; Eastgate, OH; and Santee, CA.
The company said it also expects to open two new stores in Montrose, CO and Jacksonville, FL before the end of 2022 and the start of the 2022 holiday shopping season.
With the addition of these five new stores, Sportsman’s Warehouse will have retail locations in 30 states, including 16 stores in California, eight in Colorado, three in Florida, and one in Ohio.
“With the execution of our flexible store format strategy, we remain nimble and will adapt our store footprint to match the size and demands of the markets we enter,” said Jon Barker, Sportsman’s Warehouse chief executive officer. “The size of these five stores will range from 12,000 square feet to just under 40,000 square feet, allowing us to penetrate underserved markets both large and small. Once we officially launch in Jacksonville, FL, we will have opened nine new stores in 2022, with a total of 131 stores in our fleet. Over the next few years, we expect to accelerate our new store expansion strategy and are targeting having 190-to-210 total stores in our fleet by the end of fiscal year 2025.”
