Sports Authority will allow customers nationwide to participate in its annual Sniagrab snowsports sale for the first time in the event's 60-year history by taking it online beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2.

Sniagrab (which is “bargains” spelled backwards) is the world’s largest ski and snowboard sale, held every Labor Day weekend at select Sports Authority stores across Colorado and Utah. In celebration of Sniagrab’s 60th anniversary, Sports Authority is extending the sale online. This is the first time that a nationwide customer base will have access to the sale. The online sale is available exclusively at sportsauthority.com/ShopSniagrab while supplies last.

“Our customers and team look forward to Sniagrab every year and we are thrilled to share this special savings event with the rest of our fellow ski and snowboard fans outside of Colorado and Utah for the first time in 60 years,” said Stephen Binkley, Executive Vice President & Chief Merchandising Officer of Sports Authority. “We believe extending Sniagrab to our e-commerce site is a great way to provide customers with the convenience of shopping deep discounts on winter essentials from their homes or mobile devices.”

Sniagrab offers customers the chance to save 40–90 percent off original prices on previous years’ ski and snowboard equipment, winter apparel and accessories. The sale features merchandise from leading brands such as Burton, Volkl, K2, Salomon, Columbia, The North Face, Sims and more, all at major discounts below their original price. Customers are encouraged to shop early for the best deals
