Robert Will, formerly senior vice president, general merchandising manager at Sports Authority in charge of hardgoods, licensed apparel and golf apparel, has joined Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores as senior vice president, general merchandising manager, craft.
In its statement, Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores noted that in his latest role at Sports Authority, Will maintained a positive growth trend while achieving inventory goals. He also served as chair of the assortment planning committee, in which he standardized corporate buying procedures.
He joined Sports Authority as vice president divisional merchandise manager – team sports in 2010. Before his tenure at Sports Authority, Will held roles with Macy’s Department Stores, Dick’s Sporting Goods and The May Company.
