Sporting Life, a Canadian athletic, lifestyle and fashion retailer, is set to open its first Calgary store at Southcentre Mall on Thursday, October 6.
The new location, the company’s first in Western Canada, is part of a national expansion plan.

With a love for the outdoors and ongoing need for adventure, Albertans embody the lifestyles that we at Sporting Life aim to represent through our collections.”
To celebrate their entry into the Calgary market, Sporting Life partnered with Hike Bike Travel, Velvet & Vino, Powder Matt, Dinner with Julie, Style by JR and Andrew Obrecht of YYC. The company’s #MySportingLife campaign asked Canadians to describe what Sporting Life means to them and provides an opportunity to win a $1000 gift card to the new store.

The 44,000-square-foot store will offer men’s, women’s and children’s wear, sporting equipment and footwear.
Sporting Life will continue its Canadian expansion with two new stores next year.
