Sport Chalet teamed up with Diamondback Bicycles, Air New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand to target cyclists as part of its Adventures of a Lifetime sweepstakes.
The Cycle New Zealand sweepstake will award the winner with the gear from Diamondback as well as an amazing cycling adventure abroad. The prize begins with a two-night trip to Diamondback’s headquarters in Kent, Wash., where the winner will receive a Diamondback bike and accessories worth up to $5,000. The winner and a guest will then embark on a 12-day excursion through New Zealand. Air New Zealand will provide round-trip Economy tickets for two from the U.S. to Auckland. Upon arrival, the trip kicks off with a celebratory dinner hosted by Phil Keoghan, host of the hit show “The Amazing Race,” and continues with 10 days of riding.
From Auckland to Pureora, Rotorua, Napier, Te Aroha and more, the winner will get to see the country’s breathtaking views while cycling and camping at premier destinations such as the Timber Trail and Whakarewarewa Forest. In addition to scenic cycling tours, the prize package also offers the winner an opportunity to explore Hobbiton, the iconic set from the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies.

Aside from the Diamondback Cycle through New Zealand adventure, the campaign includes sweepstake opportunities for runners, hikers, scuba divers, snowboarders and CrossFit athletes.
