Sport Chalet, Inc. will open two new locations this week, one in Phoenix, AZ and one in Bakersfield, CA. The CA store will be a 42,000 sq. ft. store location at 5200 Stockdale Highway, Bakersfield, CA 93309. The Phoenix store will be a 41,000 sq. ft. location in the Metrocenter Mall, at 9617 Metro Parkway West, Phoenix, AZ 85051. These will be the company's 46th and 47th stores.
On Friday morning at 9 a.m., Bakersfield Mayor Harvey L. Hall, members of the Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce and other guests, along with Sport Chalet General Manager Herb Zinman, will kick off the festivities with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony.
