Sport Alliance GmbH has appointed Alexandar Vassilev as its new chief executive officer, succeeding Gregor Bieler, who is stepping down for personal reasons.
Vassilev brings global leadership experience to the role, having served as CEO of WeTransfer, where he spearheaded platform expansion and international growth. Also, his background includes executive roles at Joyn and Google across Europe and the U.S., giving him expertise in digital platforms, product innovation and tech-driven transformations.
