Soles4Souls (S4S), a not for profit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing, added CeCe McCormick-Moore to its team as director of corporate engagement.

McCormick-Moore comes to S4S with entrepreneurial experience and a skill set that will contribute to the organization’s poverty eradication mission.

“Our ability to serve those in need depends on the passion and willingness of our team to go above and beyond. I think I speak for everyone here at Soles4Souls when I say that we believe CeCe has demonstrated that ability many times in her successful career,” said Soles4Souls President and CEO Buddy Teaster. “In addition to her impressive credentials, CeCe is joining Soles4Souls with a serious commitment to our mission. Soles4Souls and those we serve will benefit from her efforts.”

Prior to joining the S4S team, McCormick-Moore, who co-founded Sweet CeCe’s Frozen Yogurt & Treats, also founded Nashville, TN-based Dixie Drip Coffee Stop and authored “The Sweet Adventures of CeCe and Oliver the Giraffe,” a children’s book about bullying.

“I’ve been working for a long time and I could not be more excited to apply all of the knowledge I’ve acquired throughout my career to a mission as powerful and important as that of Soles4Souls,” said McCormick-Moore. “As a mom of four, I have a deep-seated passion for children, so having the opportunity to assist in a process that makes it possible for kids everywhere to be properly clothed is something that I’m truly honored to be a part of.”

As Director of Corporate Engagement, McCormick-Moore will secure new corporate partnerships within the apparel industry as well as also grow the organization’s existing relationships.
