Will Keegan rejoined Sole Technology after 12 years as a boot designer/merchandiser for the ThirtyTwo brand. He will oversee all design and merchandising for ThirtyTwo boots and all-terrain footwear.
Keegan spent the last 9-plus years at DC Shoes, most recently as global design manager for footwear. Prior, he was at Easton-Bell Sports as an industrial designer for hockey skates after his first 2-plus year stint at DC.
ThirtyTwo said in a release that Keegan loves snowboarding, and he’s not new to ThirtyTwo. He reportedly played an essential role as a ThrityTwo boot designer from 2008 to 2011 and brings more than 20 years of design experience to the role.
“ThirtyTwo has such a good team,” said Keegan. “I’m going to make the most of this opportunity to work with the riders to create next-level snowboarding products.”
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have Will rejoin our internal team. His passion has been missed,” said Brian Cook, ThirtyTwo and Etnies global brand director for Sole Technology. “As a lifelong snowboarder who truly understands riders’ needs, Will’s homecoming couldn’t align more perfectly with the ethos of 32, a privately owned company dedicated to the art of rider-driven snowboarding.”
