Lauren Gallo, formerly global head of content marketing at Snap Inc., the parent of the Snapchat messaging app, has rejoined Nike as senior director, brand creative. The news was first reported by WWD.

Gallo joined Snap in March 2018 and oversaw Snapchat’s relationships with its “official” story accounts, specifically those designated for celebrities or influencers. Gallo previously worked with Apple for three years as the senior brand and marketing strategy lead. Before Apple, she restructured Nike Women’s global digital and social presence when she worked for Nike’s global digital marketing department.

Gallo wrote on her Instagram feed alongside a photo of Nike’s logo, “I always believed I’d return. I just didn’t know when. I couldn’t be more excited to be back building the future of the swoosh.”
