SmartWool LLC announced the internal promotion of Amy Beck to vice president of sales for the U.S. market. Beck will oversee all facets of U.S. sales including long-range planning, go-to-market strategies, and growing the SmartWool brand presence in the U.S.

She will report directly to Mark Satkiewicz, president and general manager of SmartWool. The company will be filling the vacated role of director of sales, US Market to support Beck as she continues to grow the U.S. sales organization.

Beck has been with SmartWool for nearly decade. Most recently, Beck held the position of director of sales, United States where she led her team to several years of record-breaking sales results. She has been an integral part of the management team that launched SmartWool NTS Baselayers, SmartWool® Lifestyle Socks, and most recently the new SmartWool Mid Layer Collection. In her new role, Beck will be responsible for all strategic planning to ensure SmartWool delivers mutually profitable programs with a high value proposition for retailers.
