SmartWool named Lisa Curran as their new Apparel
Merchandising Director and CJ King as Apparel Development Director. Ms.
Curran was formerly the Business Unit Manager of Apparel and Accessories at
Skis Dynastar, Inc and Mr. King was formerly the Director of Product
Development, Quality Assurance and Asian Sourcing at Pearl Izumi USA.

“We are very fortunate to bring Lisa and CJ onto the SmartWool team. These
new positions were created to help meet the increasing demand of such for
SmartWool apparel. Their experience and talent will be a perfect
compliment our new Boulder Design center and our talented SmartWool design
team,” said SmartWool President Chip Coe.

said Anne Wiper, VP and General Merchandise Manager at SmartWool. “Lisa’s
background with Burton and Dynastar demonstrate her ability to develop
apparel lines inspired by great athletes and focused on consumer trends
while CJ¹s experience living and working around the world for such companies
as Pearl Izumi, The North Face and Nike sets him up well to help us better
utilize our sourcing network and to lead the apparel development team for
the SmartWool brand.”

Ms Curran¹s experience includes over 12 years in the outdoor market with an
emphasis on snowsports. She is an accomplished merchandiser and director of
soft goods departments and has extensive experience in translating consumer
preferences and trends into functional innovative product.

Mr. King brings results-oriented product management and development
expertise with experience in creation of product categories, product
development processes and sourcing nationally and internationally for Pearl
Izumi, Nike and The North Face.
