Skins has appointed Stefan Vollbach, most recently international director of marketing and sales at multinational sports company HEAD, to the newly created role of global brand director. The German native has been a retail seller and buyer, a department manager, a national product manager and director of marketing and sales.
Vollbach recently toured Skins' international operations, including a stop in Australia where the company was founded. “I am excited about the enormous potential of the Skins brand and its products,” Vollbach says, “We will work hard to maintain the Australian culture, a key component to our overseas success,” says Vollbach. “Our next challenge is to ensure that all types of exercisers and sports players understand the scientific benefits of Skins.”
Jaimie Fuller, CEO of Skins, believes Vollbach's appointment will take the company to the next level. “By hiring Stefan Vollbach, we have obtained a key player in the sporting goods industry. He will manage the top brand and marketing department at Skins and next year will work from the new global headquarters in Switzerland,” says Fuller.
