SKECHERS announced that Paul Davril, Inc. (PDI) has been named the licensee for SKECHERS-branded men's and women's sportswear apparel in the United States. The line will launch in department and specialty stores in spring 2005.

“Paul Davril is renowned for its successful partnerships with high-image brands, including Kenneth Cole and Eckored,” said Michael Greenberg, president of SKECHERS USA. “Presenting SKECHERS trend-savvy men's and women's apparel on par with these high-profile yet diverse lines will further propel our brand and image as we continue our strategic diversification into apparel and accessories.”

“We are pleased to be working with SKECHERS in the development of their men's and women's sportswear,” said Charles Perez, CEO of Paul Davril, Inc. “We envision a unique line of casual branded apparel that is trend-right and appeals to SKECHERS' broad consumer base.”

Under the agreement, Paul Davril, Inc. will design, distribute and market an array of men's and women's tops and bottoms in woven, denim, knit and leather materials, including pants, shirts, T-shirts, sweaters, shorts, and outerwear as part of a sportswear collection.

“Branded clothing is a tremendously profitable component of the fashion industry, and PDI has proven success making and distributing quality and stylish branded apparel,” added Faith Paige Wall, vice president of licensing for SKECHERS USA. “In addition, they understand our brand and our position in the marketplace, making them an ideal licensing partner.”
