Singtex Technical Fabrics has acquired dedicated representation within the North American region. Mike Costa, a veteran in the outdoor textile and apparel world, has been chosen to join forces with the Singtex main office in Taipei, Taiwan. The Singtex North American office will be located in Boulder, CO.
Singtex Technical Fabrics, an industry leader in textile innovation, combines its fifteen years in business with Costas twenty-plus years of textile experience.
Costa relates; “I am thrilled to be joining the Singtex family, having enjoyed a long and successful business relationship with them as a customer. We are strategically placed in Boulder; an area known to be on the leading edge in fabric and apparel development. We are also centrally located on the continent in order to easily reach out to our customers.”
Singtex Technical Fabrics has made a name for itself in the marketplace with technically sophisticated knits, wovens, and coated fabrics, as well as soft shell and laminated applications in a variety of weights and end-uses.
As former Director of Textile/Product Development for Hind, Pearl Izumi, and Saucony, Costa brings with him more than twenty years of industry knowledge in manufacturing, fabric development , and product development. He has also worked with brands such as Nike, InSport, Reebok, Puma, LL Bean, and REI.
