The Walking Co. announced the exclusive launch of PlanetWalkers by Simple. PlanetWalkers will be featured at Walking Co.'s 190 stores this summer as part of a month-long 'Sustainable Comfort' promotion highlighting efforts across the comfort shoe industry to incorporate eco-friendly materials and production techniques.

PlanetWalkers feature premium leather from certified BLC and ISO 14001 tanneries committed to continued improvement in all aspects of their business that affect the planet. PlanetWalkers' outsoles are molded with a blend of 60% latex rubber and 40% recycled car tire composite. It provides a durable and flexible foundation that supports and protects your feet, while providing traction on all surfaces. Cork and recycled compression molded EVA make up the midsole while ground recycled car tire and Ortholite footbeds provide the insole with proper arch support.
