Sierra Bullets and Barnes Bullets announced that Steve Mullinax has been appointed national sales manager. Most recently, Mullinax served as national sales manager at Blackpowder Products, Inc.
Over the course of his career, Mullinax has gained experience in various roles, including customer service representative, sales coordinator and OEM sales manager.
“As we continue to grow both the Barnes and Sierra brands, Steve will be a welcome addition to the team with his experience in all facets of sales and customer service,” said Sierra Bullets’ and Barnes Bullets’ CEO Jim Bruno.
In his new position as National Sales Manager at Sierra Bullets and Barnes Bullets, Mullinax will be responsible for U.S. and Canadian distributors, buy groups, farm and home, mid-state and specialty retailer accounts. Within these accounts, he will oversee sales cycles, placement and strategic forecasting.
In February 2024, Clarus Corp. completed the sale of its Precision Sport segment, comprising Sierra Bullets and Barnes Bullets, to JDH Capital Co. for approximately $175 million.
