The SIA was recently awarded two bronze awards from the Society of National Association of Publications (SNAP) for collateral pieces promoting the 2004 SIA SnowSports Show. SIA received these accolades in the multi-piece campaign and single piece categories for advertisements.

Already in its third year, the EXCEL awards program judges nearly 1,000 magazines, newsletters, scholarly journals, electronic publications and websites in the areas of editorial quality, design, general excellence, most improved and more. This year's contest received more than 1,070 entries in the various categories.

“We were extremely excited to receive this award as it is a true testament to the time and energy focused on reshaping a new campaign for SIA.04,” stated Scott Mellin, director of sales and marketing for SIA. “An award of this magnitude solidifies our role as an intelligent partner in our industry and in the non-profit association sector.”

SIA developed the SIA.04 campaign with the Denver-based Factory Design Labs group. The association will be recognized at an Awards Gala hosted in Washington, DC, on June 17.
