Sherpani, the maker of lifestyle bags for women, promoted Jimmy Kim to director of business operations. A dedicated employee of Sherpani for over six years, Kim will now oversee daily operations of the Sherpani organization to ensure that the company’s ambitious goals and high standards are accomplished.
“We are thrilled to announce this promotion; Jimmy Kim has proven to be a highly-respected and effective leader since joining the team in 2010,” says CEO of Sherpani Ed Ruzic. “He has an excellent business acumen, and we are eager to see his positive influence on the global operations of the company.
Kim was the regional equipment manager at Columbia Sportswear for seven years before joining Sherpani. During his time at Columbia Sportswear, he gained expertise in global sourcing, product development, and merchandising management. For the past six years Kim has been the head of Sherpani’s overseas subsidiaries.
