Responsibilities:

Detail oriented team player who under the direction of the Senior Product Development Manager will take on the development responsibility for specific projects within Dunham footwear. Responsible for the daily communication and interaction with over sea’s Developer’s, Product Engineers, Sourcing, Marketing, Design and Development teams.

Generates spec sheets and tech packages for seasonal projects. Identifies and resolves technical issues related to product development and process. Uses technical expertise in the development process to determine manufacturability of new styles. Demonstrates technical leadership. Promotes and maintains positive, cooperative working relationships with cross functional team members.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree with a minimum of seven years of development experience. A solid working knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings, molding processes, materials, wear testing data, patterns and production processes. Has a solid understanding of margins, FOB, and costing factors as it applies to proto type development.
An ability to analyze and summarize data and work within stringent timelines is a must. Familiarity with Excel, Lotus Notes, and Adobe Illustrator is preferred. Some over sea’s travel required.
