Sealskinz, a manufacturer of waterproof accessories, hired Brendan Collins as national accounts manager, reporting to the U.S. Country Manager Shawn Pritchett.

“Brendan’s relationships and his knowledge of specialty retail, combined with his outstanding sales and customer service skills, set him apart from other candidates,” stated Pritchett. “He’s a great addition to our team.”

Collins most recently worked for bike and outdoor accessory manufacturer Seattle Sports Company, starting there in 2013 as its western sales manager. He became its national sales manager in mid 2014, handling key outdoor specialty retailer accounts in the U.S. and Canada and directing its sales team.

Prior to this, he worked in sales and customer service for camping equipment manufacturer Exped and the Minneapolis-based retailer Midwest Mountaineering, where he was a department coordinator for three and a half years. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, he also has experience guiding kayak and overland tours in New Zealand.

Collins starts with Sealskinz next week, when the company will be exhibiting at the Interbike International Bicycle Expo in Las Vegas on September 21-23.
