Walter Seace, a seasoned sales  marketing professional with over 25 years’ experience in the outdoor industry, has joined sports optics provider Kruger Optical.

In his new role as Sales and Marketing Manager, Seace will focus on pioneering Kruger-branded products into all markets. Seace’s responsibilities include promoting the company’s new 1-8×40 Dual Tactical Sight (DTS) GEN II, a dual-function scope combining a high-resolution red-dot reflex sight with a 2-8×40 zoom scope with Mil-dot reticle.

Seace will also work with National Sales Manager Rich Babcock in promoting the company’s Discovery Expedition binocular collection, sold under license from Discovery Communications, LLC. His duties will also include OEM/private label sales.

“We are extremely excited about Walter being on board,” said Kruger Optical President Mark Thomas. “He has been in the shooting sports industry his whole career and is well-respected in the marketplace. His background in the tactical market will assist us in bringing the DTS to that community.”

Seace brings a long and diverse sales history to his new position. As National Sales and Marketing Manager for Meopta Sports Optics USA, Seace pioneered Meopta’s brand in North America, building it from a virtual unknown to over a million in annual sales in just two years.

Seace has also managed sales and marketing programs for optics and shooting sports companies including Leica, Surefire, Vivitar, Weatherby and Bushnell. He has experience within the outdoor media as well, working as a publisher’s representative for Primedia Outdoor Group of Magazines.

A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Seace also has experience in working with military and law enforcement markets.

“I am extremely excited to be a part of the Kruger Optical team and am looking forward to meeting the challenges that come with the task of pioneering a new brand of optics into a well-established marketplace,” Seace said. “It won’t be easy, but Kruger Optical offers the optical customer a unique combination of innovation and value with every product we bring to market, and I am confident that once we start putting product into the hands of these customers, the Kruger Brand will grow dramatically.”

Seace will work from Kruger’s Sales and Logistics Center in Walnut, CA.

Kruger-branded products are aimed at customers who are looking for more product for their dollar. Kruger products are engineered in the company’s Sisters, OR, facility, with selected products manufactured in Oregon.
