Scott USA has hired Steve Larsen to test and develop products for its U.S. bicycle group. Larsen brings a rich and diverse cycling history to this position, as he has competed in several disciplines. He is a two-time national NORBA champion in mountain biking, a former road cycling teammate of Lance Armstrong on the Motorola team, and is an Xterra off-road triathlon winner. Steves most recent sporting achievements were in the world of triathlon, where he won his first Ironman in Lake Placid and then went on to place 9th in Kona.
Steve will be giving input on future designs from Scott USA, as well as promoting the brand in all segments of riding in which he participates. Scott Montgomery, General Manager of the U.S. bike group, added, “Ive known Steve for a long time both as an athlete and as a retailer. He has a genuine understanding of cyclings many disciplines and can help us promote our current range and develop new products for us in the future.”
