SCOTT wintersport hired Arden Balkema as its Midwest sales representative for softgoods. Balkema is charged with selling clothing, gloves, hats and the newest addition to the Scott line, socks. Balkema will cover the following states; Arkansas, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
“Softgoods is the fastest growing category for Scott USA,” said Larry Morton, vice president of Scotts wintersport division. “We look for Arden to make an immediate impact in growing our midwestern market share.”
Balkemas 10 years of experience in retail management and buying and nine years as a Salomon sales rep make him the perfect person to lead the Scott USA softgoods charge in the Midwest.
