Schuylkill Valley Sports announced plans to open a new location in Reading, PA.
The new location will be on 5th Street Highway in the previous Boscov’s Furniture Outlet location (next to parking lot of Fairgrounds Square Mall). Renovations will be under way soon, with the new location planned to be ready in time for Back-to-School & Fall Sports season.
Schuylkill Valley Sports will continue to operate its current Fairgrounds Square Mall location up until the opening of the new location. In addition, Schuylkill Valley Sports has 15 other current locations including the Berkshire Mall (next to Sears). The retailer’s annual Tent Sale event in the Fairgrounds Square Mall parking lot runs from 5/26-6/15.
