Twenty Pop Warner Football programs, including 3 new/startup associations, will be receiving new football helmets from Schutt Sports as part of Pop Warner Football’s Equipment Grant Program.
 
Programs from across the country will each receive 24 new Schutt youth football helmets for the upcoming seasons. The programs will choose the color for the helmets and faceguards as well as the sizes they need.
 
Schutt Sports is the Official Helmet of Pop Warner Football and part of their partnership with Pop Warner is providing high quality equipment for the grant program.
 
“We all remember how it great it was to be able to put on a brand new football helmet,” says Dave Rossi, Vice President of Marketing for Schutt Sports. “This grant program gives nearly two dozen teams a chance to provide premium quality new helmets to their kids. This is just one of the reasons why Pop Warner is the premier youth football organization in the world.”
 
“We received an overwhelming number of worthy applicants, but the grant awardees demonstrated the most need for Schutt helmets, whether it was the poor condition of their current equipment, or the lack of any protective headwear for the many new Pop Warner teams joining the organization in 2009.” said Trevor Scholl, Pop Warner National Grant Coordinator.
