The SportsOneSource Group has hired sporting goods and outdoor industry veteran Barry Schrimsher as research Vice President, Business Development Western U.S. Schrimsher’s career spans three decades in the sporting goods, outdoor and ski business. Among many roles he has held, he started and grew a successful sales agency in the Pacific Northwest, was a founding member at Mountain Hardwear and was in sales management positions at Crocs, Columbia Sportswear and Icebreaker.
“Barry and I have known each other, and worked together, for over twenty years,” said Paul Gagner, President, Sports and Outdoor for The SportsOneSource Group. “I am very excited that he is joining our team. He is highly competent, and customer centric. He understands how to build businesses and will be an important resource for our clients, working with them to create competitive advantages for their businesses using quantitative data.”

Schrimsher will be based out of the new SportsOneSource office in Portland, OR, and will manage business development for research and subscription products in the western U.S. region.
