Schoeller USA President Tom Weinbender is now also working as an associate for the Scottish firm Halley Stevensons.

Weinbender has been with Schoeller Textil AG of Switzerland for 34 years, including 21 as president of Seattle-based Schoeller USA.  In addition to his current position, he will now also apply his extensive knowledge of the textile and apparel business as an associate for Halley Stevensons, which is best known for its high-quality waxed cottons.

“Halley Stevensons, like Schoeller, is an authentic high-quality supplier who works hand-in hand with its customers to provide the perfect textile solutions that work for today’s trends as well as for heritage pieces,” stated Weinbender.
Schoeller was founded in 1867 in Switzerland and Haley Stevensons was founded in 1864 in Scotland.  Each company is very specialized and focused on markets that allow Weinbender to have a deeper dialogue with customers to support both sales and customer service while he is serving out his position as president of Schoeller USA.

“Schoeller has benefitted greatly from Tom’s extensive understanding of the North American market and his dedication to the textile business. He has been a valued member of the Schoeller team for many years and will continue to be so,” said Siegfried Winkelbeiner, CEO of Schoeller AG.

Tom Weinbender will be assuming his additional role immediately.  He can be contacted for any inquiries about Halley Stevensons at  Weinbender Textiles, LLC  via tom@weinbendertextilesllc.com.  For any Schoeller Textil inquiries he can still be contacted at the Schoeller USA office.
