Schoeller Technologies AG and Ciba Specialty Chemicals AG, will cooperate in the areas of Branding, Marketing and Support and Sales for the 3XDRY Technology. Ciba Specialty Chemicals will be managing as a consultant, as well as sales of the related products and quality control world-wide for 3XDRY, which was developed by Schoeller. Schoeller Technologies is responsible for branding, marketing and patent matters.
According to Hans-Jürgen Hübner, CEO of Schoeller Technologies AG, the fact that Ciba Specialty Chemicals is represented in 120 countries and is therefore very close to the customer was among the decisive factors for the new concept of the cooperation.
“Our finishing technology has developed very successfully and is increasingly entering markets and regions which lie outside of our own target segment,” explains Hans-Jürgen Hübner.
Peter Otto, Head of Global Marketing Textile Effects at Ciba Specialty Chemicals comments, “the 3XDRY® finishing technology uses products from Ciba and supports our strategy ideally.”
As a result of this cooperation, the necessary capacity can be made available world-wide for customer-oriented and quality-conscious market expansion. Similarly, the local Ciba representatives will assume the advisory services for licensed producers, distribute their own product range for finishing customer products with the 3XDRY technology and monitor quality control.
