Scarpa North America promoted Sarah Fansler, who has worked at the brand for the past three years, to direct sales manager.
In her new role, Fansler will work to elevate customers’ online experience and engagement with the Scarpa brand by directing website functionality and overseeing the digital customer service team.
Fansler’s promotion follows the May launch of a new Scarpa North America website with tools and features designed to more effectively convey the brand’s history, heritage and products. Fansler was deeply involved with the site launch.
“Sarah has done an amazing job since she joined the Scarpa sales team,” said Mark Mathews, Scarpa North America VP of sales. “She has very much earned this promotion. We look forward to seeing her step up into this elevated role and continue to support customer interaction via our new website and help drive Scarpa sales across all channels.”
Fansler is also a 2017 graduate of the Skip Yowell Future Leadership Academy, a six-month Outdoor Industry Assocation program designed to help prepare, unite and amplify the voice of future outdoor industry leaders.
“These last couple of years at Scarpa North America have been very rewarding and dynamic,” Fansler said. “It has been remarkable to watch such a mature company continue to evolve and push the limits. I am thrilled to be moving into this new role at Scarpa North America and help expand our digital journey. I’m looking forward to the new opportunities ahead of us and feel very fortunate to be able to work with such an accomplished team every day.”
