SC Products Group and Desert Tactical announced the merger of the companies to support the growth in manufacturing, sales, marketing, and distribution of the SC-14 Gun Cleaner product.
Based on the product’s launch and first-year growth in 2024, the SC Products Group and Desert Tactical leadership teams made the strategic decision to consolidate operations under the SC Products Group, LLC, while creating efficiencies and strengthening current and future product marketing, sales and distribution through an expanding roster of retail partners and direct-to-consumer platforms.
Since first announcing SC-14 Gun Cleaner last year, the St. George, UT-based Desert Tactical team had been working closely with retail partners to test the effectiveness and manage sales and distribution of the non-toxic cleaner for retail.
“After a successful launch of the product and growing popularity of SC-14 Gun Cleaner, it makes sense to merge with SC Products Group and bring the sales, marketing and distribution under SC Products Group moving forward” said Austin Stone, CEO of Desert Tactical. “SC Products Group has manufactured and distributed safe cleaners and detergents with a focus on cancer prevention for more than 20 years for first responders, off-road vehicles and now, firearms.”
SC-14 Gun Cleaner is engineered to be safe on any firearm surface including metals, plastics, decals, and specialty or untreated metals, including chrome and exposed aluminum as well as nitride-coatings and painted surfaces.
SC-14 Gun Cleaner does not contain harsh or caustic chemicals. Its main driving ingredient, a food grade additive, creates a non-toxic, biodegradable cleaner that is “Safe for You, the Environment, and the Things You Love.”
