Saucony announced the appointment of Tom Carleo
to the position of Vice President of Marketing for Saucony. In his new position, Carleo will
oversee product marketing direction for all categories of footwear, as well as establishing
strategic brand direction. Mr. Carleo begins his duties with the company effective immediately.

Carleo brings to Saucony many years of experience in the footwear industry. Prior to joining
Saucony Inc., Carleo held the position of Global Footwear Product Director at Nike. During his
years at Nike, Mr. Carleo also led efforts in sports marketing and grass roots marketing, as well
as branding and product at Nike Japan. An accomplished runner, Carleo brings to Saucony a
complete understanding of the needs of the core running consumer, as well as the needs of the
athletic footwear dealer.
